Topic:  The science of psychoactive drugs.  Exploration of  a major
issue in current biomedical science using analysis of the most
recent scientific literature, and interpretation of contemporary
research data.  Readings and lectures are supplemented by whole-
class and small group discussion and by frequent written assignments.
