CLASS TIME:	June 17, 3:00-7:00pm in the HPER
	(Attendance at class is required to attend travel dates)
TRAVEL DATES:	June 18-19, 2005
LOCATION:	South Central Indiana
DESCRIPTION:	This course introduces vertical rescue techniques.
Topics include care and use of equipment, knots, belay escapes,
passing a knot, counterbalance descents, raising rescues and other
improvised rescue techniques. Rescue techniques are practiced in
a "ground-school" setting, in preparation for the outing.
BOOKS:	Reading packet provided.
ASSIGNMENTS:	Readings and reflective paper.
EVALUATION:	30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior,
30% written examination and 20% three page paper.
ADDITIONAL FEE:	The additional fee for the class is $150, which
includes transportation, food, and group gear.
