Excavations this summer are designed to discover how over 1000 years
ago people organized their towns, built their houses and experienced
social and political life in Southwest Indiana. YOUR JOB will be to
help excavate houses and pits and to learn about the role of material
culture in piecing together the histories of past people. Students
will excavate, learn lab techniques and be introduced to geophysics,
GPS and GIS.
