During the first half of this course, we will we will discuss both
the development and maintenance of the anatomy and physiology of the
human male and female reproductive tracts as well secondary sex
characteristics.  This section of the course will be augmented by
reading selected chapters of the book, “The guide to getting it on”
by Paul Joannides and Daerick Gross.  In the next half of the course
we will explore the historical and cultural context of human
sexuality research by reading and discussing the book, “Bonk: The
curious coupling of science and sex”, by Mary Roach.
