This course is an introduction to Uzbek pronunciation, vowel and consonant systems of Uzbek,
reading, writing and translation; grammar, elementary conversation.  Uzbek TV materials, video
films, and movies (in Uzbek) brought from Tashkent will be used.  The second half of the course
will focus on improving conversational skills.
