Monday, June 21, 1999 at 6:00 - 6:50 p.m., HPER, Room 019.

"Sailing Fundamentals" by Jobson

EXAMS:
Take home exam.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Learn to rig and sail a variety of sailboats.  To learn trapeezing skills
and spinnaker
works.  To reach a intermediate level of racing knowledge and/or proficiency
in E-
Scows.

GRADING:
S/F grading

ATTENDANCE:
Students are allowed a maximum of 3 absences.  Upon a fourth absence a
student
has three (3) options:  1) receive a grade of F; 2) officially withdraw from
the class;
3) follow an appeal procedure through your instructor and/or the Elective
Program
Cordinator.
