COURSE PREREQUISITES:
E164/E264 and/or permission of instructor

CLASS MEETING:
One Lecture at beginning of course.  Labs on Mondays, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
First meeting will be on
Monday, June 21, 1999 at 7:00 - 7:50 p.m. in HPER, Room 019.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
To take experienced sailors and instruct them in the rules, techniques and
strategies of sailboat racing.  Also teach techniques of setting the
sailboat race
course and administration of running sailboat races.

ATTENDANCE:
Students are allowed a maximum of 3 absences.  Upon a fourth absence a
student
has three (3) options:  1) receive a grade of F; 2) officially withdraw from
the class;
3) follow an appeal procedure through your instructor and/or the Elective
Program
Coordinator.

GRADING:
Graded on S/F basis only
