This course will meet June 18-25, 1999.

Description: This course is designed to develop a familiarity with the
historical, legal, managerial and psychological aspects involved with
wilderness.  Special attention will be shown to the experiential aspects of
the wilderness experience.

Required Text: The Wilderness Reader.  By Frank Bergon (1994).  University
of Nevada Press.  There is a readings packet, also.

Summary of Assignments: Readings and an end of course paper.

Additional Information: This course will meet at Bradford Woods and a field
trip will be included.  Course requires a special fee.
