Mission

The Office of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculties empowers our campus community by furthering the primacy of the academic mission, advocating for faculty, and enhancing teaching and learning.

The Office oversees and supports faculty careers from recruitment through hiring, promotion and tenure, and retirement. It supports student learning through a variety of programs that develop and maintain excellence in instruction, in curriculum, and in the academic environment.

The Office is also responsible for special projects often assigned by the offices of the President and campus Chancellor. With that in mind, we envision our mission in three ways: Instructional Support, Faculty Support and Curriculum / Campus Support.
