Theta Chapter's second annual Anchor Slam took place Sunday, April 19th at noon in the Indiana University Wildermuth basketball courts (HPER).
Anchor slam is an event where men from fraternities and other campus organizations compete in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. For each team, 1-2 women from a
sorority or
other campus organization acted as a coach and a sideline supporter for their assigned team. Each team had 3-4 men, one acting as a sub. Fifteen teams competed this
year, and the winning team was Phi Kappa Sigma.
The $1,500 raised from this philanthropy will benefit Service for Sight, which aids in the support of sight conservation and service to those who are visually impaired or
blind. If you would like to donate to Anchor Slam, you can make out a check to Delta Gamma and send it to Rachel Gerbosi, 105 N Jordan Ave, Bloomington, IN 47406.
