AGEP to offer summer writing support group for advanced minority graduate students

Back by popular demand!

The Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) is offering a writing support group for advanced minority graduate students starting this summer. This group is intended to coordinate a support network for graduate students who are working towards any writing goal, be it the completion of their dissertation, proposal, or manuscripts to be submitted for publication. Participants can expect to receive and provide support in writing, meeting deadlines, making revisions, and preparing for their next steps. Meetings will be held every other week, beginning the week of May 14, 2012.

Interested graduate students should complete an entry survey (www.surveymonkey.com/s/BLPSVJQ) no later than May 1. An informal orientation meeting will be held on Thursday, May 3, at 4pm at the Bloomington Bagel Company (113 North Dunn Street, Bloomington). Interested students will have the opportunity to talk with participants from the Spring 2012 writing group and discuss the summer format. For more information, please e-mail agep@indiana.edu.
