IU Asian Culture Center's Culture Camp for Children

The Indiana University Asian Culture Center (ACC) is pleased to announce its 10th Annual Culture Camp for Children. From July 13th through the 24th, the ACC will be offering free workshops to groups of children ranging between 6-12 years of age.

Our two-hour workshops are designed to foster awareness and appreciation of the global community. A single program showcases one Asian ethnic culture--which participants get to choose in advance--and features fun and interactive activities, including hands-on arts and crafts, traditional games, music and language exploration, and cooking demonstrations.

The ACC's Culture Camp welcomes individual and group visits (up to 15 children per group). Registration begins on May 18 and is on a first-signup first-served basis. Sessions are held in the mornings from 10 am to 12 noon and in the afternoons from 2 to 4 pm.

To register your child or group, please contact Danny Nguyen via e-mail acc@indiana.edu with the following information:

  • Name of contact person, phone number, e-mail address
  • Name of affiliation/organization (if applicable)
  • Number of participants and their ages
