Four culturally-based fraternities in need of chapter advisors

Four culturally-based fraternities are in dire need of chapter advisors. Members of these fraternities are amazing student leaders who deserve advisors willing to help them with not only their organizational development, but also their personal and leadership development. At this time, advisors are needed for (1) an Asian-interest sorority, (2) an Asian-interest fraternity, (3) a Latino fraternity, and (4) a Latina sorority.

Advisors would preferably be a member of a Greek letter organization (a culturally based group is especially preferred) and would be able to at very minimum attend chapter meetings once a week and attend Multicultural Greek Council advisor meetings once or twice a semester with the Student Activities Office staff. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who would like to work with students and become a fraternal organization advisor.

If you are interested in advising one of these groups, please contact Christianne I. Medrano, Advisor, Multicultural Greek Council & LEAD IU Student Activities, at cmedrano@indiana.edu or 812-855-4311. She can talk more in depth about the groups, their needs, and your potential role.
