Asian American Association Fashion Show, November 20 The annual Asian American Association fashion show "Beyond the Front Door" is Friday, November 20, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in Wilkie Auditorium at 150 South Rose Avenue in Bloomington, Indiana. Admission is free! The AAA Fashion Show is an annual variety show that includes talents from the IU community and showcases beautiful traditional clothing from different Asian countries. There will be clothing featured from the Indian Student Association, Korean Student Association, Malaysian Student Association, Thai Student Association, Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and the Filipino Student Association. There will also be modern clothing by a talented Asian American designer. Performances by: Rod Rivera, Hip Hop Connexion, Ching Yu, IU Bboys, Eddie Suarez, Justin Zheng, Clay Kobayashi Spencer, Middle Eastern Dancers, IU Steppers. Food will be served and suggested donations will go to the World Food Program that will benefit recent typhoon victims in Southeast Asia. For more information, e-mail aaa@indiana.edu. | |
