A Leadership Development Model for Improving Bachelor’s Degree Completion at Minority Serving Institutions

Project Assistant (student hourly position): Assist the project co-PIs in a year-long planning effort to establish the processes and protocols for engaging the leadership at public, minority-serving institutions (MSIs) in a sustained, integrated focus on improving student degree completion rates. The project assistant will help develop and then monitor the overall project action plan, analyze and synthesize literature on effective practice; assist with planning and implementing an advisory group meeting and a convening of leaders from prospective implementation institutions; and assist in developing a business plan for funding and engaging an initial set of target institutions for implementing the protocols.
