From left to right: President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from IU in 2008), Kathleen Sobiech (Program Manager, IU Office of International Development), Ansahta Garnett (Director for the Center for Excellence in Health and Life Sciences at University of Liberia), Jim Gibson (Director of 21st Century Scholars at IU Bloomington) and Dr. Emmett Dennis (President, University of Liberia, an IU graduate). Gibson was named to the official IU delegation that met with Dr. Dennis and his staff, primarily in their Student Affairs division, to discuss a variety of issues in higher education administration.
