2013 Camp Selections:

Selections for the 2013 program have been finalized. We have issued letters, via U.S. postal mail, indicating the admission status of each applicant. In fairness, we will not provide the names of 2013 campers by phone or email. Thank you.

Camp Call Outs:
The 2012 camp graduates returned for a Science Saturday trip to the Science and Industry Museum in Chicago, IL on December 1, 2012. Spring Science Saturday information will come out in early 2013.

The 2012 camp graduates are going to the Indianapolis State Museum for a Science Saturday trip on April 6, 2013.




Indiana University is proud to host "Adventures in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math", a two-week, academic, residential camp that provides activities and field experiences for students who will be entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall of 2013. Applicants must be current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders who are Indiana residents and who are currently enrolled in a school within the state of Indiana. The camp promotes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, and supports historically underserved and underrepresented students. Students attend the camp free of charge. Applicants should have at least a B average in science and a B average in mathematics courses as well as have standardized test scores showing evidence of proficiency in science and mathematics. Applicants also must be recommended by their current science and mathematics teachers who each must complete a Recommendation Form and write a separate letter of recommendation.

The camp will be held June 16-28, 2013 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and students will be housed in a dormitory on the university campus.
