Student Activities Office

The Student Activities Office (SAO) is where involvement begins! The SAO is committed to building growth and enhancing students' experience at Indiana University. A college education does not begin or end at the classroom door, and the SAO provides a wide wealth of opportunities for students to become involved with.

Basic services offered:

  • Developing leadership skills at various conferences and workshops
  • Joining some of the 400+ student organizations at IU, or starting your own club
  • Getting involved with one of the 57 fraternities and sororities
  • Participating in community service and volunteer activities
