Decision Support Services (DSS) Team designs, develops and supports a consolidated environment for storage and facilitated retrieval of institutional data. Users and information systems developers work with us in the development and maintenance of two main service tools: the Data Warehouse and the IU Information Environment (the IUIE). Decision Support Services comprises:
| Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE) | A centrally maintained web-based decision support application. IUIE is a register of report objects that associate descriptive and security access information with institutional data. To access IUIE go to https://onestart.iu.edu/iuie. |
| Reporting | Information on the DSS environment and procedures for developing reports, including SQR Support |
| Data Warehouse | Institutional data that has been modeled for decision support is selected from the Data Warehouse and transformed into reports. Reports may be published in the IUIE. |
| Informatica ETL | Informatica's PowerCenter, a set of tools used to extract, transform, and load data. |
| Naming | An environment for choosing or generating Data Warehouse compliant names. |
