Wild Senna (Senna hebecarpa)

Native perennial of moist meadows and savannas

Medium to full sun and moist to moderate conditions (plant in medium to low, wet areas)

Blooms yellow, July - August

Grows to 6 ft.

Faunal Associations:

    • Mostly attracts bumblebees but can also be visited by Halictid bees

Fun Fact: Foliage is generally avoided by mammalian herbivores because of its laxative qualities
