Summer Professional Development Program for Middle and High School Teachers of Chinese

With STARTALK funding, Indiana University's East Asian Studies Center will hold an intensive 2 1/2 week residential Chinese Pedagogy Institute (CPI) offering 4-5 hours of graduate-level credit to 24 prospective and current secondary school Chinese teachers (16 "beginning" and 8 "advanced" teachers). In addition to the 4-5 credit hours of tuition, instructional materials, lodging, and meals will also be fully covered, with travel being the only cost borne by the participants.
