Content-Based Instruction for Beginning-Level Japanese
A Workshop for K-16 Teachers of Japanese

EASC, in conjunction with the Association of Indiana Teachers of Japanese, will hold a one-day workshop for K-16 Japanese teachers titled “Content-Based Instruction for Beginning-Level Japanese.”  During the morning session workshop leaders will provide an overview of the Content-Based Instruction (CBI) approach and discuss how to use CBI in the classroom.  In the afternoon participants will develop CBI-oriented activities out of authentic materials based on manga, TV dramas, TV commercials, and film.
