POSCO TJ Park Foundation NGO Fellowship Program, 2008-2009
EASC is a member of a consortium of five universities that provide year-long sabbaticals to non-governmental organization (NGO) leaders from Korea through the POSCO TJ Park Foundation NGO Fellowship Program.
This program has been established, with the generous support of the POSCO TJ Park Foundation, to provide an opportunity for key personnel of Korean NGOs to spend time at leading North American universities gaining knowledge and experience that will further the development of NGOs in Korea.
Each member of the consortium, comprised of Columbia University, George Washington University, Indiana University, Stanford University, and the University of British Columbia, hosts two fellows each year for a five-year period, from August 2006 to August 2011.
Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures Professor Michael Robinson directs this program at Indiana University, with administrative support from the East Asian Studies Center.
