With Title VI funding from the U.S. Department of Education, the Illinois/Indiana (IL/IN) East Asia National Resource Center Consortium and the UCLA/USC National Resource Center Consortium sponsor a wide range of academic programs. These programs further develop our commitments to robust undergraduate and graduate training, critical research, and outreach to the business and professional communities.

National Dissertation Workshops

The workshops feature IL/IN  or UCLA/USC areas of national strength in annual two-day gatherings at which IL/IN or UCLA/USC faculty offer critical feedback on in-progress dissertations. They are designed to enable students (both beginning writers and more advanced) to engage in intensive discussions with faculty and other students.
