This quarterly newsletter for K-12 educators is available for free to subscribers. It includes reports on our upcoming outreach events, information on new East Asia-related resources, and classroom activities.

TEAMS Lesson Plans
Lesson plans developed by middle school teachers at our 1996-98 Teaching East Asia in the Middle School (TEAMS) workshops, based on National Council for the Social Studies themes. Each volume contains lesson plans, outlines, and activities that present central issues related to East Asia in a systematic and easy-to-understand way.

History of Japanese Education Translation Series
Supported by the Center for Research on Japanese Educational History, this series has to date produced three translations of works by Japanese scholars in the field of history of Japanese education: an article by Professor Emeritus of Kyoto University, Umihara Tōru; an essay by the Tokugawa scholar Aizawa Seishisai; and the proceedings of a 2006 international conference on literacy in Japan.
