The figure, the nimbus and the octagonal pedestal were all carved from a single piece of stone The figure has a short neck and tightly curled hair. The robe covers the entire body and is thin enough to reveal the body's contours. The omandorla has a frame of floral motifs, and the whole of the outside is edged with a flame pattern. The octagonal base is surmounted by an upturned lotus on which the figure stands. This image originally stood in the lecture hall at Kamsansa Temple.
