409. Pommels with Bronze Bells

Bronze Age, Third-second century B.C, National Treasure No. 146, Height 15Scm each, Kim Tong-hyon Collection, Seoul

There are four slits in the top of each of these bronze pom-mels, and the under part appears to have been closed off after the bells were placed inside The bottoms of the pom-mels appear to have been left open so that they could be attached to the saddle.
