Kim Sosin is the Noddle Distinguished Professor of Economics, Chair of the Department of Economics, and Co-Director of the Center for Economic Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which included one year of the Ph.D. program studying at the London School of Economics. She teaches macroeconomics and econometrics. She has given numerous workshops and presentations at professional economics association meetings on using the Internet in economics education, and as chair of the technology committee and board member of the National Association of Economic Educators, organized clinics and presentations at national meetings on using technology in economic education. Sosin is creator and webmaster for EcEdWeb http://ecedweb.unomaha.edu, which was the first major web site dedicated to providing online resources for economic education.

Sosin's scholarly publications are in the areas of economic education, macroeconomics, labor and gender economics, and technology transfer. Her work, which includes a chapter on using Internet technology to teach economics in Teaching Economics to Undergraduates: Alternatives to Chalk and Talk (ed. W. Becker and M. Watts), has also appeared in economics journals such as the Journal of Economic Education, American Economic Review, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Feminist Economics, and Review of Economics and Statistics.
