Title: Verbal Abilities, Gender and the Introductory Economics Course: A New Look at an Old Assumption
Abstract: The results of reading comprehension exercises conducted in introductory macroeconomics over a four year period indicate that females do not possess superior comprehension of economics discourse; a finding generally supported by results obtained by psychologists and the national trend of SAT scores.
