Title: Calculus and the Teaching of Intermediate Microeconomics: Results from a North American Survey

Abstract: This study finds that in the teaching of intermediate microeconomics most schools require at least one semester of calculus, and use calculus techniques at least occasionally, but at many schools students are not held responsible for calculus knowledge on exams.
