Title: A Course in Economic Forecasting: Rationale and Content
Abstract: A forecasting class is not currently part of most economics departments' curriculum but the ability to forecast is an important skill for graduates to have. This article provides an outline of how forecasting fits into the economics curriculum and what ought to be taught in an economic forecasting class.
