Title: Demonstrating the Equivalence Between Two Methods of Measuring Excess Burden
Abstract: Excess burden can be viewed as the area of a triangle underneath a demand curve or as the value of a mathematical formula, but these two approaches yield the same measures given a change in any relevant variable.
