wellhousesml.jpg - The Rose Well House is located just to the west of Wylie Hall. It was built in 1908 atop the first IU water well using the portals of the Old College Building (left below). The Well House was a gift from Theodore F. Rose and is built in the shape of his fraternity pin, Beta Theta Pi, if seen from above. Beneath the Well House is a water cistern, now filled in.
