Juan Carlos Hatchondo, Assistant Professor

He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester, and a degree in economics from the Universidad de la Republica, in Uruguay. Dr. Hatchondo has done extensive work in the area of international finance and his work has been published in the International Economic Review, Journal of International Economics and Review of Economic Dynamics.Prior to joining Indiana University, he served as an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and as a visiting consultant for the International Monetary Fund.
