Prof. Walker's research interests include macroeconomics, econometrics and financial economics. Recent work examines the economic implications of the increasingly tenuous fiscal position of many countries. Another line of research studies dynamic models with asymmetric information.
Born in Chillicothe, Ohio, Professor Walker earned a B.A. and M.A.
degree in economics from Miami University.
