There are several options for course communication, information posting, collaborative discussion, group work, and file sharing at IUB. If you are not familiar with these options, please contact the Teaching and Learning Technologies Centers (TLTC) (tltc@indiana.edu, 855-7829, Ballantine Hall 307 or Main Library West 305) or see the following document, which provides a start for matching your course needs with the appropriate supporting technology:
Electronic Communications Options
To request a local newsgroup for class purposes, instructors should send e-mail to news-admin@indiana.edu and include the following information: Instructors wishing to apply for a SiteScape Forum Summit (formerly AltaVista) should use the application form available on the SiteScape support page.

Instructors wishing to reserve a UITS Student Technology Center (computer classroom) should use the following application form:

Instructors needing assistance integrating other course-related communication and information sharing options such as e-mail, distribution lists, WWW publishing, Oncourse, etc., please contact TLTC (tltc@indiana.edu, 855-7829, Ballantine Hall 307 or Main Library West 305).
