Step 5:
Transfer your files to the WWW server

After your files have been created and tested, move them to the computer that acts as a WWW server so that other people can read them. Your files will normally go in the WWW directory on your server account. If you have an account on the central WWW server at IUB, this directory is created for you. Software such as FTP for Windows and Transmit on the Macintosh makes transferring the files to your server account relatively simple. For more information on FTP, see the following:
