Step 6:
Test your files from the WWW server

Don't forget to test your homepage after the files have been transferred to the server. You will need to know the URL for your homepage. It will normally take the form:

http://servername.address/~youraccountname/filename.html

for example,

http://www.indiana.edu/~smithclass/index.html

Files named index.html or index.htm will show up as the default page in a central WWW server account at IUB. So, in the example above, simply typing:

http://www.indiana.edu/~smithclass/

will default to the index.html file in the account.
