Chad Gonnerman
Chad is a graduate student in Philosophy at IU, coming from the University of Iowa where he received a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Philosophy.  His current research interests are primarily in the philosophy of mind/philosophy of psychology.  In general, he is interested in using psychological findings to help us solve traditional philosophical problems.  For example, in dissertation research he is investigating how the psychology of belief revision can help with the metaphysics of belief.

Kari Theurer
Kari is interested mainly in the philosophy of biology and related areas, including the philosophy of psychology, neuroscience, and the philosophy of mind.  Within these areas, she is particularly interested in issues concerning mechanism and reduction.  She is also interested in problems in the philosophy of science generally, especially in the structure of scientific theories, the nature of scientific explanation, and the metaphysics of science.  Currently, she is also actively cultivating an interest in feminist philosophy of science.  When she is not philosophizing, Kari enjoys cooking, running, fashion, and snow skiing.  She enjoys reading rock biographies and German literature.  She also collects jazz records and plays the violin.
