Parking can be found at the Atwater Parking Garage, located on the block west of, and next door to, Emeriti House. During the work week, parking is free for those with IU's EMP-P (formerly A) permits; others must pay a fee. On weekends parking is free for everyone. Individuals with an EMP-S (formerly C) permit (and any other permit except EMP-P) must pay an hourly fee, but can park free of charge after 5 p.m. Those without a permit may park in the garage and pay the hourly fee directly to the attendant. If attending an Emeriti House event, you may park free of charge in the Atwater Parking Garage, take a ticket upon entry, and see Nat, Emeriti House Coordinator, directly after the event for validation.
Parking for those with IU Disabled Permits is accessible along the alley way directly behind Emeriti House. There are six clearly demarcated EMP-RE (retired) parking spaces in the alley restricted for Emeriti House use only. Visitors should not park in these spaces during EH events unless they need to do so due to physical mobility issues.
Routes A and B on the campus bus schedule will take you past Emeriti House.
