• Visit the Supercollider Home Page on sourceforge. Download SC3 to your computer if you have one
• Find the David Cottle Supercollider .pdf on the CECM server: David Cottle Supercollider Tutorial [pdf] on CECM Server->Shared->K509 2007->K509 Supercollider docs->David Cottle SC Tutorial. You will find two items in there--one, the pdf text, and the other has the rtf example files from the text. COPY these to your computer if you own one, or copy to your account on the MAC302 computer so you can modify them.
• READ p. 69-107 in the Cottle text, trying the example and then modifying them. Pace yourself, this get's a bit dense. Also, please look at the Exercises at the end of each chapter as if I had assigned them
• Look at some of the other help links from the Supercollider Home Page--I have put some of them in the same folder on the server. Some are good, some aren't, some just stop as if they meant to continue on.
• Keep working on your final projects--they are extremely important!
• We will have class on Tuesday of Thanksgiving Week.. Take a free absence if you are leaving town.
