This course focuses on basic respiratory therapy procedures. Physiologic
applications, effects on the cardiopulmonary system, and hazards for each
therapeutic procedure are discussed. Topics include physical principles,
airway care, humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas therapy,
hyperinflation therapy, and chest physical therapy.
