Anthropology | Historical Archaeology (3 cr.)
P330 | --

We will examine the ways in which historical archaeologists investigate
Colonial and American cultures and lifeways in various regions of North
America throughout time. Special attention will be given to
understanding the long and complex history of Native American/European
interactions, North American social systems, interaction with and
exploitation of the environment, technologies, and material culture. The
theory and methods used by historical archaeologists will also be
emphasized.
