Business Professional Accountancy | Finance Issues in Firm Valuation (3 cr.)
F560 | --

The objective of this course is to provide an introduction to the
financial tools used in firm valuation. Valuation frameworks are brought

to life with detailed case studies that highlight the practical
judgments involved in the valuation process. In addition, the course
emphasizes the need for managers to focus on the value their business
strategies are creating. Such an understanding can affect the handling
of many aspects of corporate strategy and governance such as: the choice

of strategic alliances, the selection among several possible lines of
business, and capital structure.
