P: CPT 225 or STAT 301, MATH 221 and CPT 341. An introduction to queueing
theory as it relates to traffic analysis. Emphasis is on single-server
queuing systems with respect to queue length, waiting time, and protocols.
Modeling of communications systems and interactive computer systems.
Multi-server queuing is discussed.
