P: 265 and STAT 511 or equivalent. Simulation: discrete event
simulation, process oriented simulation, generating random numbers,
simulation languages, simulation examples of complex systems.
Nondeterministic models: random variables, Poisson process, moment
generating functions, statistical inference, and data analysis.
