Class 3, Lab 2. P: EET 284 or EET 303. Focus on techniques and
applications in data- and telecommunications. Topics include
telecommunication networks, various digital communication systems, noise

performance, data networks, and protocols. Also included are serial and
parallel transmission, multiplexing, modems, interfacing, and trouble-
shooting techniques. The laboratory covers both analog and digital/data
communications circuits.
