This course focuses on American English pronunciation and stresses
active learner involvement in small groups and self-tutorials. Practice
in a contextualized format includes drills and multimedia listening and
speaking activities. Classwork emphasizes stress and intonation patterns
and vowel and consonant production. Individualized instruction focusing
on specific needs is a component of the course.
