Contribute Data

To contribute to EthoBank, please send email to describing the quality and quantity of the data in detail. Currently, EthoBank will accept only annotated data sets of behavioral information which are already in electronic form. These can be databases, tables of numbers, images, sounds, notes, etc. Long-term storage of data in EthoBank may be prioritized by the EthoSource Advisory Board.

For acoustic and visual recordings of behavior which may require further annotation or curation, EthoSource encourages recorders to contact instead the Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds and/or the Borror Lab of Bioacoustics .

For Ethograms, we encourage depositing also in the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's collection .
