Fine Arts Advising Office

It is the mission of the Fine Arts Undergraduate Advisor to counsel current and prospective students, with regard to gathering and interpreting information toward the end of achieving their stated academic and career objectives in the School of Fine Arts.The advisor works to help students set and achieve academic and career goals as much as possible, but it is the students responsibility to know the College of Arts and Sciences Degree requirements as well as the School of Fine Arts major requirements. This information is available in the COAS Bulletin. Current COAS Bulletins and Bulletin Supplements are available free of charge in the advising office Room 127. The advisor’s role is to help students interpret this information and apply it effectively toward reaching their own individual goals.

How to set an appointment with the Studio Art Advisor
To set an appointment or to schedule a tour of the Fine Arts Building, please send an email to the Studio Art Undergraduate Advisor, Nell Weatherwax.

Please include two or three possible meeting times. You will receive a confirmation of the set appointment within 24 hours. For quick questions or short meetings (15 minutes), you may choose to come during her walk-in office hours, 10–11:45 am, daily.
